The interaction between management and engineers at some of my former workplaces was a rich inspiration for Dilbert-style comics.
I extracted bits and pieces from original Dilbert comics by Scott Adams to capture these memories.
Each collage was drawn on paper with pencil, photographed, and retouched. The text was added using GIMP in type Purisa. The resulting images are shown below.
There is not a 1-to-1 correspondence between company staff and the characters in the comics.
People don't have power over us.
